Adder Upgrades KVM Powerhouse, Cambridge, United Kingdom Adder Technology,  Adder Upgrades KVM Powerhouse, a global leader in connectivity solutions and high performance IP KVM, today announced the latest addition to the ADDERLink® INFINITY range. The new ADDERLink INFINITY 2102 (ALIF2102) brings a host of new features, including a smaller form factor transmitter and DisplayPort® connections, all combining to deliver a KVM powerhouse for the most demanding customer requirements. Part of the popular ALIF2000 series, the ALIF2102 is available as a transmitter and receiver, and joins an impressive stable of high performance IP KVM solutions from Adder Technology.

John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder, said, “The ALIF2000 series has been a trusted and proven IP KVM solution for our customers for many years. It’s at the heart of thousands of KVM systems around the world. Our customers expect connectivity choice and migration options that reflect the ever-changing landscape of their networks and workflows, and the ALIF2102 solution does just that. Not only that but the new ALIF2102 is compatible with the existing ALIF2000 series products, which means customers can migrate at their own pace.”

The latest updates to the ALIF2000 series provide total control, flexibility and choice for customers when it comes to connectivity. In addition to the current DVI version, the ALIF2000 series now has native DisplayPort connections. With support for video resolutions up to 2560 x 1600, users can visualize their data with pixel-perfect image quality while multiple audio configurations provide greater implementation options.

The ALIF2102 transmitter has been redesigned to significantly reduce excessive rack-space use. The new, compact, form factor means that three ALIF2102 transmitters can fit into one ‘U’ of rack space. So, when customer rack space is a premium, Adder has the right KVM solution without compromise. And it’s a potential energy saver too, using up to 50% less power than its predecessor.

When it comes to precision control, Adder again has it covered. Ultra-responsive touch screen compatibility means users can now control the on-screen display using a touch screen keyboard providing a convenient alternative to a physical mouse and keyboard where appropriate. This is ideal for customers working in environments where USB peripherals are not permitted due to safety and hygiene, or where space is at a premium.
